S3R Ranch

Welcome to S3R RANCH! We are located in Santa Rosa Tx. We would like to share our photos and experiences with you. We have been married for 13 years and have 2 sons, Aaron Rene and Justin Rene. Aaron has been involved in showing animals at livestock shows for 4 years. He has shown interest in breeding his own livestock. Justin is also showing interest in showing and breeding his own animals. We have always had a love of animals and purchased this land with the intent of raising livestock. We purchased our first Simmental heifer in 2006 for a 4H project for our son, Aaron. After showing Boer goats for 3 years, he wanted a heifer and after speaking with local breeders we decided on Simmental. OJ3 STARLET is his first heifer and she is quite a beauty. She is a registered Simmental heifer and just this January, she had her first bull calf,now known as S3R JUNO. In 2007,Aaron had saved enough money to purchase his 2nd heifer, LER MOONLIGHT. We also purchased a bull named LER ALI.

Aaron had a great show year. His bull ALI won Reserve Grand Champion Simmental Bull. Moonlight got 3rd place and Starlet placed 1st. We are currently in the market for another Simmental heifer for our 8 year old, Justin. 2009 will be his first show year and he is very excited about showing. We are current members of the Rio Grande Valley Simbrah/Simmental Association, Cameron County Livestock Show committee, Canelo Trailriders and Arroyo 4H volunteers.

We are enjoying watching our sons grow as they learn about the cattle business!
