The Gunner Thames Memorial Foundation was
formed in 2011 after Gunner passed away
after a tragic rodeo accident. Gunner was a
loving, amazingly funny, caring young man.
He was injured in a Steer Wrestling event
and fought a 3 week battle with a head
injury. He passed from complications on
September 9, 2011, he was 15 years old.
Gunner loved working with livestock
of any kind, showing animals in the
4-H, hunting and fishing, loved
spending time with young kids, and
especially rodeo.
After the
passing of Gunner, friends and family came
together to establish the foundation in
honor of Gunner and keeping his memory
alive.
